6. Test for tightness: The base should not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.

Using Vehicle Seat Belt:

1. Place the car seat base rear-facing on the vehicle seat.
2. Route the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the designated belt path on the base.
3. Buckle the vehicle seat belt.
4. Engage the integrated lock-offs on the base to secure the seat belt.
5. Press down firmly on the base while pulling the shoulder belt to remove slack and secure the base.
6. Check the RideRight bubble level-indicators to ensure the base is at the correct recline angle. Adjust the ReclineSure leveling foot if necessary.
7. Test for tightness: The base should not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.

4.2. Attaching the Infant Car Seat Carrier to the Base

1. Align the infant car seat carrier with the installed base.
2. Lower the carrier onto the base until it clicks securely into place.
3. Pull up on the carrier to ensure it is firmly attached to the base.
