1. પરિચય
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Ecolink WST-232 Wireless Home Security Door Window Sensor. This device is designed to enhance your home security by detecting the opening and closing of doors and windows. It is compatible with Honeywell and 2GIG 345 Mhz Receivers.

2. સેટઅપ અને ઇન્સ્ટોલેશન
2.1 નોંધણી
To enroll the sensor with your security system, follow these steps:
- Set your alarm panel into program mode. Refer to your specific alarm panel manual for detailed instructions on accessing these menus.

- Touch the magnet to the side of the sensor that has three white lines. This action will send a signal to the control panel as loop 2. Repeat this process as required by your panel.

2.2 માઉન્ટ કરવાનું
The Ecolink WST-232 sensor offers two mounting options:
- બે બાજુવાળા ટેપ: Double-sided tape is included for both the contact and the magnet. For optimal bonding, ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry. Apply the tape to the sensor and then firmly press it onto the desired location for several seconds. It is not recommended to mount the tape at temperatures below 50°F (10°C); however, after 24 hours, the bond will hold at lower temperatures.
- Screw-In Mounting Plate: A mounting back plate with screws is also provided. Screw the back plate onto the mounting surface, then snap the sensor onto the mounting plate. To remove the sensor from the mounting plate, first remove the cover. At the bottom of the sensor (closest to the battery), a small tab will be visible. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to press this plastic tab towards the wall, then slide the sensor upwards.
મહત્વપૂર્ણ નોંધ: Do not use the double-sided tape to secure the mounting plate to the wall.
The sensor has three white lines on one side, indicating the location of the reed switch. The magnet must be mounted facing this side of the sensor and should be no further than 5/8 of an inch (approximately 1.6 cm) from the sensor for proper operation.

Once properly enrolled and mounted, the Ecolink WST-232 sensor functions as a wireless door/window contact. When the magnet separates from the sensor (indicating an opening), it sends a signal to your security panel. When the magnet returns to proximity (indicating closing), it sends another signal. This allows your security system to monitor the open/closed status of protected entry points.
The sensor operates on a 345 Mhz frequency, ensuring compatibility with specified Honeywell and 2GIG systems.

The Ecolink WST-232 sensor uses a common CR2032 (3V Lithium) battery. The battery is designed for a five-year life under normal operating conditions. When the battery level is low, your security panel will typically indicate a low battery condition for the sensor. To replace the battery:
- Carefully remove the sensor cover.

4.2 Interchangeable Cover Feature
The contact comes from the factory assembled with a white cover. An optional brown cover is included for aesthetic customization. To change the cover:
- Slide the current front cover to disengage it from the sensor.

- Replace with the desired cover (white or brown), ensuring the "Top" marking (located on the inside of the cover) aligns correctly.
