Helicopter Components

છબી: બાજુ view of the ESKY 150 EC helicopter.
The ESKY 150 EC helicopter features a durable frame, main rotor blades, a tail rotor, landing skids, and a removable canopy. The main rotor provides lift and control, while the tail rotor controls yaw (left/right rotation).
The MINI 6X 6-Channel 2.4GHz transmitter is used to control the helicopter. Familiarize yourself with its various controls:

- મોડ સ્વિચ: Changes flight modes (e.g., beginner/advanced).
Immediately cuts power to the motor.
- Rudder (Left/Right): Controls the helicopter's yaw.
- Throttle (Up/Down): Controls the main rotor speed and altitude.
- Aileron (Left/Right): Controls the helicopter's roll (side-to-side movement).
- Elevator (Up/Down): Controls the helicopter's pitch (forward/backward movement).
- Trim Controls (Throttle, Rudder, Aileron, Elevator): Fine-tune controls to correct unwanted drift.
Turns the remote control ON/OFF (hold down for ON/OFF).
1. Charging the Helicopter Battery
The helicopter uses a 1S 3.7V 150mAh Li-Po battery. Always use the provided USB charger.
- Connect the USB charger to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
- Connect the helicopter battery to the USB charger. Ensure the polarity is correct.
- The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (refer to charger instructions for specific light patterns).
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the battery from the charger. Do not overcharge.

2. Installing the Helicopter Battery
Ensure the helicopter is powered off before installing the battery.
- Gently remove the helicopter's canopy to access the battery compartment.
- Insert the charged Li-Po battery into the compartment.
- Connect the battery plug to the helicopter's power port.
- Carefully reattach the canopy.

3. Powering On and Binding
The helicopter and remote control must be bound (paired) before flight.
- Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
- Ensure the remote control's throttle stick is in the lowest position.
- Turn on the helicopter's power switch. The helicopter's indicator light will flash.
- Press and hold the Power Switch on the remote control until it turns on. The remote control's indicator light will flash.
- Wait for a few seconds. The indicator lights on both the helicopter and remote control should become solid, indicating a successful binding.
- If binding fails, turn off both devices and repeat the process.
Always operate the helicopter in an open, safe area, away from people, animals, and obstacles. Ensure you have sufficient space for flight.
- Throttle (Left Stick Up/Down): Increases or decreases the main rotor speed, controlling ascent and descent.
- Rudder (Left Stick Left/Right): Controls the helicopter's rotation around its vertical axis (yaw).
- Elevator (Right Stick Up/Down): Controls forward and backward movement (pitch).
- Aileron (Right Stick Left/Right): Controls side-to-side movement (roll).
Slowly push the throttle stick up. The helicopter will gain altitude. Maintain a steady throttle to achieve a stable hover.
Slowly pull the throttle stick down. The helicopter will descend. Reduce throttle completely upon landing.
Altitude Hold and Hover
The 150 EC is equipped with a 6-axis gyroscope and atmospheric pressure sensor for stable flight and altitude hold. Once the helicopter reaches a desired altitude, release the throttle stick to its center position. The helicopter will attempt to maintain its current height.
Flight Modes (Hi/Lo)
The remote control features a Mode Switch. It is recommended to use the "Hi" mode for more stable and responsive flight. The "Lo" mode may exhibit a slight delay in controller response.
One-Button Shutdown
In an emergency or if the helicopter is out of control, use the Throttle Cut Switch to immediately stop the motors. This function can also be used for a quick, controlled shutdown after landing.
Wipe the helicopter and remote control with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners, as they can damage electronic components.
If main or tail blades become damaged, replace them with the provided spares using the included screwdriver. Ensure blades are securely fastened but not overtightened.

|---|---|---|
| Helicopter does not respond to remote control. | Not bound, low battery (helicopter or remote), power off. | Ensure both devices are powered on. Re-bind the helicopter and remote control. Charge helicopter battery. Replace remote control batteries. |
| Helicopter drifts during hover. | Uneven trim settings, slight wind, unbalanced blades. | Adjust trim controls on the remote control. Operate in a calm environment. Check blades for damage and replace if necessary. |
| Helicopter does not take off. | Low helicopter battery, damaged blades, throttle not advanced enough. | Charge helicopter battery. Check and replace damaged blades. Slowly increase throttle. |
| Ensure battery is fully charged. Consider replacing the battery if it's old or damaged. |
