The AD5 adapter is designed for wide compatibility with various smartphones and vehicles. It supports vehicles that come with wired CarPlay or Android Auto (at least one wired connection).

- Connect AD5 to your Car: Use the included USB cable (Type-C to Type-C or USB to Type-C) to connect the AD5 adapter to your car's CarPlay/Android Auto USB port. If your car's USB port does not provide enough power, use the included Y-shaped cable to draw additional power from another USB port or a cigarette lighter adapter (not included). Ensure all connections are firm.
- Access Android System: Once connected, your car's display should recognize the AD5 and boot into its Android system.
- Pair Your Phone: On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Pair your phone with the AD5 via Bluetooth. The Wi-Fi connection will establish automatically after Bluetooth pairing.
- Launch Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto: Once paired, you can quickly launch wireless CarPlay or Android Auto from the AD5's interface on your car's screen.

The AD5 features a dual Wi-Fi module. One Wi-Fi connection is dedicated to wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, ensuring stable performance. The second Wi-Fi module allows the AD5 to access the internet independently. This enables you to use the FindApps app store for compatible applications, stream content, and maintain internet connectivity for other features while using CarPlay or Android Auto.
